A lifelike mask gives him a new face—and with it, anonymity, access and dangerous permission. The world treats him differently, but the mask cannot free him from the suspicions he carries inside. The result is psychological fiction at its most unsettling: a study of identity, desire, shame and the social contract written on the human face.
